Genre: Children's magazine

Rating: 4.5/5

How I came to know about this book:

I was looking for a children's book, something other than Tinkle, to gift someone when I suddenly remembered an interaction with Charu, where she mentioned the children's magazines she publishes. So, I decided to pick up the third edition, as it was the latest one.

What the book is about :

"Curious Panda - Issue 3" is an exceptional addition to the beloved kids' activity and storybook series. This issue stands out with its exciting focus on tennis, a sport that is both fun and educational for children.
The book features engaging stories that introduce kids to the world of tennis, offering a fantastic way to spark interest in the sport. The activities are creatively designed to reinforce the tennis theme, allowing children to learn and practice new skills interactively.

What I have loved about the book :

Adding an extra layer of educational value, this issue includes a fascinating write-up about Japan. It provides a wonderful opportunity for kids to explore a new culture through vibrant illustrations and engaging content. It also has stories and activities that explore familial ties with grandparents.

What I felt could have been better :

I felt the book was a bit pricey for its target audience, especially when compared to other children's reads like Amar Chitra Katha. Though the e-book edition is available for free at Kindle Unlimited, still it will ruin the pleasure of the activities for sure.

Why one should read or not read this book:

The book’s illustrations are absolutely delightful, with colourful, charming images that will captivate young readers. It’s a perfect gift for any child and a valuable resource for parents looking to combine entertainment with education. Highly recommended!
